SAFE held its first SNAPP event on the 7th of May with simultaneous public presentations in five centres around the country.

SAFE speakers in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin addressed enthusiastic crowds about the SAFE Stop Factory Farming Campaign.

Hamilton speaker Lynley Tulloch was delighted at the turnout. "The audience was very keen to participate and there was no issue with involving them in discussion - only reining them in to keep on time! Many commented that they had been unaware of some of the issues that were raised in relation to egg production."

These national public talks are a great opportunity for members of the public to engage with SAFE and learn about the issues.

We are planning another SNAPP event in October. We'll keep you posted.
