A delicious feast of vegan food may have convinced the Green Party not to look back! The catering at the latest Green Party policy conference in Raglan was entirely animal-free and a huge hit! SAFE's local coordinator Loretta Dixon, well known for her dietary choice in the community (she organises regular vegan potlucks), was contacted to work with the cook to produce a fantastic menu for the three-day conference, and help with the preparation of the food. Loretta says the attendees were very impressed.
"People were amazed that things were entirely free of animal products," says Loretta. "The cooks also said they learnt a lot and were very open to learning about vegan cooking." Well done Loretta!
