SPREADING THE MESSAGE: EARTHLINGS STYLE!

For those brave enough to have seen the documentary Earthlings, narrated by Joaquin Phoenix, you will know how difficult it is to watch. At least being so powerful it is motivating.

SAFE supporter Jen Lussing was so compelled she organised a film screening by her newly formed animal rights group at Massey University, in Palmerston North. Jen was astounded at the 150 people in attendance, from vet students to lecturers to community members. Jen comments "I hope that the movie made a lot of people consider the way they use animals. Certainly there were mostly non-vegetarians at the event, so even if a few went home and decided to give up meat, dairy, or leather, that would be terrific!"
