Experienced SAFE members Deirdre Sims and Marianne MacDonald have begun offering presentations to school students around the Auckland region. Over 40 Epsom Girls Grammar students listened during their lunch break to Deirdre and Marianne talk about the work SAFE is doing. The presentation was organised by the school' s animal group. According to Deirde there was considerable interest in joining and volunteering for SAFE. Deirdre says "It was an awesome experience as the students were receptive and enthusiastic, and we have been invited back next month!"
