SAFE received the ‘warm fuzzies’ from Victoria University students Jon, Laura and Stacey, who organised the second annual Polar Fleece Day at The San Francisco Bathhouse in Wellington last month. SAFE was the nominated recipient of the proceeds of this year’s annual dress-up-in-polar-fleece fundraising event, which raised over $500. The gig, which featured Vorn, Tommy Ill and Cassette, attracted some 200 fuzzy or furry musos, all intensely competing for the SAFE t-shirts for best polar fleece attire!
SAFE was delighted to hear the event was a success. “It was a really fun night and there were some incredible outfits! The bands were fabulous and everyone had a really super time,” said one of the organisers. “The winners of the dress-up competition loved their new SAFE shirts!” Nice work, guys!
