This month SAFE will screen its second television advertisement to highlight the plight of animals in New Zealand. The in-house, 30-second production entitled ‘They Need You’ reveals the plight of caged hens, rodeo animals and factory farmed pigs. The advert, containing only footage filmed in New Zealand, will appear regularly on TV3 and C4. “Following the success of SAFE’s first-ever television commercial, we have continued with the same creative direction and style to help bring attention to how animals are treated in New Zealand,” says SAFE director Anthony Terry.
“We are very grateful to all those who have donated their time, energy and expertise to the production of this captivating advert. It’s hard to believe that producing a 30-second commercial can take weeks, but we are proud of the final result.
