Givealittle is a newly launched online community donor programme where New Zealanders can conveniently donate their time or money to approved New Zealand charities. SAFE is one of the 50 initial nominated charities.
Givealittle founder Nathalie Hofsteede says "We all know how good it feels to give and be generous. Everyone I talk to has a story where they felt they made a difference, an experience where they helped someone and shared some abundance...What I have found is that we usually get the greatest feeling from giving when we have not been asked, but when we have taken it upon ourselves to find or acknowledge something we really care about and just act on that feeling."  The Givealittle programme makes supporting charities like SAFE easy. The website allows the user to quickly browse through the various categories and select an organisation or project. You can donate as much and as often as you like, as well as offer to volunteer. Givealittle guarantees that 95 per cent of your donation goes directly to your choice of charity.
