CHRISSIE HYNDE SUPPORTS SAFE!

The autographed shirt read ‘Craving fresh meat? Lick a vegetarian!' Chrissie Hynde, a long-standing, outspoken animal activist, signed the shirt during her last New Zealand tour. SAFE was invited to have stalls at both New Zealand performances offering information and merchandise to concertgoers.

SAFE marketing manager Amanda Sorrenson says: "Many people in the audience were turned on to SAFE thanks to Chrissie Hynde promoting us on stage. Best of all, she chose to wear a SAFE t-shirt while performing on stage. Chrissie also dedicated a song to all the suffering animals of the world."

Closer ties have now been forged between Chrissie Hynde and SAFE. Chrissie said to us backstage: "Keep up the good work. You guys are doing a great job for the animals." She even gave us one of her tour shirts.
