The SAFE Auckland crew came out in force on Sunday to show their support for World Vegetarian Day (October 1st), by holding a fabulous info stall at the Vegetarian Food and Lifestyle Festival. They had a blast, enjoying tasty treats from talented chefs, picking up recipe ideas and sampling vegetarian and vegan wares. The SAFE stall was a great success and attracted a large crowd to their colourful collection of merchandise, vegan treats, cruelty free cosmetics and information. "It was great," says Auckland SAFE shop manager Edward Sharpe. "There was a huge crowd and it was a fantastic opportunity to spread the word about cruelty free living. We also managed to raise funds towards our LovePigs campaign and draw attention to Planet Species, Auckland's premier cruelty free shop." All the Auckland staff would like to extend a big thank you to the volunteers who helped out and to all the SAFE supporters who came on the day. If you'd like to sample more Planet Species wares or learn how you can support cruelty free living, visit Edward and the team at Shop 11, St Kevin's Arcade, K Road or on the SAFE website.
