A SONG TO FREE PIGS

We are very pleased to introduce a remarkable and inspiring young woman, Siobhan Davidson.

Siobhan is just 14 years of age and has autism.

Her friend David Coleclough, a musician, says during a recent visit with her family Siobhan mentioned that she had written a song to help the pigs.

"She is just passionate about pigs," says David. "She told me that she had written a song about the cruelty that pigs suffered and that the song  was called 'How Do You Think The Pigs Feel'," he says.

"I thought she had done an amazing job," says David.

David has been kind enough to produce it into a song for her behalf but hopes to have Siobhan sing it herself in the future with some coaching.

"If you can use the song in anyway for your campaigns or if it helps to inspire people that would be good," says David.

SAFE executive director Anthony Terry says he was moved at the compelling lyrics Siobhan had written.

"Siobhan has done a remarkable job capturing the essence of what life must be like for a pig inside a crate. It is humbling that she has been compelled and motivated to write about the mistreatment of pigs and that have been produced into a heartfelt song thanks to her dear friend, David," he says.

"Well done, Siobhan. You're certainly an animal champion in our eyes!" says Anthony.
