This week is a logistical nightmare and extremely stressful. The SAFE team is busy coordinating SAFE’s annual street appeal, which requires an all-hands-on-deck approach. Coordinating over 1500 collectors in over 35 centres remains SAFE’s single largest challenge but we are fortunate to have an amazing team of volunteer collectors willing to lend a hand. We trust you are one of them and are set to have some fun raising funds for animals this Christmas. If not, register now.
THE BREAKFAST show on TV One saw some intrepid pigs fly off the Auckland Harbour Bridge to highlight SAFE’s appeal week. Actors Leighton Cardno, Paul Ellis and Jared Turner donned pig costumes to bravely take a bungy jump down to the sea. Watch online.
GORDANA SOKORAC is one of Auckland’s top volunteers. Campaign officer Eliot Pryor says he is especially impressed with her enthusiasm and dedication.
THERE’S STILL TIME to help make it a happy time for pigs this Xmas season by getting your office mates to fork out for factory farmed pigs with SAFE’s easy to use Xmas raffle.

THANKS REX A big thanks goes to Rex Graphics for donating a new sidewalk sign for SAFE’s Cruelty Free Shop.
