in the media
The nation has been shown what happens to sheep exported to the Middle East from Australia. It is horrifically brutal and callous. They could easily have been New Zealand sheep. It was only a mere seven years ago that New Zealand sheep farmers were stuffing huge ships full of sheep to suffer a barbaric death by methods deemed illegal here. If we are to believe the agriculture minister, live sheep will never be exported from our shores under his watch. SAFE questions how good is his word?
