SAFE shone at its brightest yet last month in the company of nearly 450 advocates for pigs at one of Auckland’s most prestigious venues. Along with the many other glittering highlights of an unforgettable night the near-capacity crowd saw some of the country’s most influential personalities join Mike King to demand an immediate ban on pig crates. It was a night to celebrate. SAFE director Anthony Terry said it was the finest two hours in his twenty-year career.
