SAFE was very saddened to hear that our friends Carolyn and Jim, who own an animal sanctuary north of Wellington, were left grieving and devastated after finding that their beloved goat, Colonel Stinky, had been allegedly shot dead by neighbours who then entered his body into a hunting competition. The sanctuary is home to Peggy Sue, the lucky sow that was rescued from an intensive piggery after the Mike King expose. If you would like to give a donation to the Huha Sanctuary, click here.
