GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS DOLPHIN BAN
A coalition between SAFE, WSPA, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society and Project Jonah has received a favourable response from the government to no longer keep dolphins in captivity in New Zealand.
CAFÉS AGAINST FACTORY FARMING
SAFE is compiling a national list of retailers, cafés and eateries that no longer use battery eggs and/or factory-farmed pork products. If you know of any place that no longer uses either, please email us their name and address safe@safe.org.nz.

Despite a recent law change making it illegal to slaughter animals without pre-stunning, animals in New Zealand will continue to have their throats slit without first being rendered unconscious.
