 Piggy art auction for SAFE!SAFE is delighted to bring you a gorgeous original painting to buy, with all proceeds going towards SAFE's LovePigs campaign. SAFE member and artist, Rua de Reus, has kindly donated a vibrant canvas painting to SAFE to be auctioned on TradeMe. Rua is a member of the Otago Art Society. Rua de Reus is a self-taught artist who has been painting for six years. She has a passion for nature and animals. Her biggest inspiration is the sea. Since joining SAFE she has become involved with fundraising to support the organisation. Rua believes that public awareness and political lobbying are vital to expose animal abuse and cruelty such as animal experimentation. SAFE director Anthony Terry says he just loves Rua's painting style. "What an adorably animated free ranging piggy. Don't you just love that facial expression?
